10 Must-Have Dresses for Spring

Spring is here!!  This winter has been one for the books and I for one am ready for bare-legs-appropriate clothing  Aren’t you?!  When the weather starts to warm up, I immediately take to my favorite type of clothing: dresses.  They’re simple, flattering, and quite versatile (as shown here).  So, in preparation for spring and all the major events that happen during this quarter, I’ve lined up a few of my favorites for you to consider.  Hope you love them as much as I do!

Except for the maxi dress, all the other dresses are not only perfect for spring, but also work/office friendly!  Throw a blazer over most of these, or tuck into a midi or pencil skirt like I did here, and now you have at least three outfits you can wear with a single dress.  That’s a great way to save some money and expand your wardrobe, should you end up purchasing any of these or any other dresses this spring.  Can’t wait to hear which are your favorites!  Happy first week of Spring to all!!

Lunch at Lily Pullitzer This Saturday!!

THIS is one event you are not going to want to miss!  This Saturday, Lilly Pulitzer is hosting Lunch at Lilly – a shopping event with a DJ, sips and sweets…and last but not least, GIFTS!!  There will be several different gifts with purchase that Lilly will be offering that day, and that day only.  Take a look at the goodies you can score with your purchase:

Meet and Greet Chic in Academia at The Impeccable Pig this Thursday!

One of the things I love the most about blogging/instagramming/tweeting/pinning is that I get to meet so many new people and end up making TONS of new friends!  The downside to doing so online is that you rarely get to meet them in person. That’s why I’m super excited to be hosting the Spring Soiree event with The Impeccable Pig in Mountain Brook this Thursday from 5-7pm!

I’d love for you to come for some sips and apps, all while shopping with me!  Because you know, I’m super fun to shop with! 😛  Seriously though, there is a bigger cause here.  As noted in the flyer above, the event will help donate proceeds to Mitchell’s Place – an organization dedicated to “provide comprehensive, research-based, educational, social and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities in a deeply caring environment.”  Who doesn’t love a good cause AND an affordable shopping experience?!

I realize that it’s hard to get away on a school-night, so I’ll be live tweeting/facebook-ing/instagramming items from the store that you might be interested in.  If anything should strike your fancy, please feel free to let me know or call the store directly to order so that part of that purchase can help raise funds for Mitchell’s Place.  The store address is in the flyer above, and the number to the store is 205-874-7008.  That said, I hope you are able to stop by and keep me company in store that night!
